I HATE TRIPLETS.
Band was killer today. First we ran as usual then it was sectionals. haha i think i pissed off Joycelyn cause i kept on getting the notes confused. and Pirates had loads of triplets which i really hate. yeah then we went back to the band room then Break! haha we sat at the staircase and we were talking so loud! hmmm. After that we did warm ups which is quite okay for me now. I kinda managed to memorize it. its just the 4th longtones which i am quite confused with.
yeah then we did Pirates! yay. it was fun finally playing it but i think i screwed up. Celine was realy good. yeah the melody was really cool and all. hmmm then after that we played Cant Take. that i was okay. managed to play almost everything. yeah. really scary when you play the solo. good thing there are six alto sax people. hmm then we played MERRY WIDOW. i love the song when i hear it but hate it when i play it. but it was fun. the melody part. hmmmm then we did really really really boring Rhythm Exercises.
let me tell you, when you seat there for like half an hour saying TA TA TA you get really sleepy especially in the
cold room. and did i mention that the band room is now carpeted ? yeah and it stinks. well for a while only. but yeah its quite cool.
after that i met my mum and bro at the dental clinic at Tanglin there. my bro got his plate(like retainer) and now he talks really weird. but it looks quite cool. yea and my braces fell and i feel kinda bad. so i have to go back next week to put the rings on. and i have SPRINGS in my mouth! haha to pull the teeth back which moves like 1mm a month. .............. i know. hmmm yeah.
